Kelly R. Garvin, MD

Bio

Dr. Garvin graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in biology from Mercer University in Macon, Georgia. She then received her medical degree from Mercer University School of Medicine, where she received the Distinction in Service to the Community Award, and completed a residency in family medicine at Prisma Health in Columbia, South Carolina.

Board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, Dr. Garvin is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Christian Medical and Dental Association. She most recently cared for patients as a family medicine outpatient clinic physician at Southwell Medical Clinic in Tifton, Georgia, treating patients 10 years of age and older for minor injuries and acute illnesses. She also served on the Southwell Breast Program Leadership Committee as its primary care representative.

Dr. Garvin joins the board-certified physicians and highly skilled clinicians at Lexington Family Practice Lexington. Dedicated to providing quality care for individuals and families, the practice offers a full range of health services to patients of all ages, including internal medicine, pediatric and gynecologic care.
